Luxury family home renovation in Fulham

House in Fulham - Bespoke gloss dark brown kitchen and white corian worktop

Our goal for this renovation of a luxurious family house in Fulham was to ensure that natural light would complement the fresh contemporary interiors.

When we met the owners of their newly purchased property in Fulham, we instantly knew that we could trust each other and that we could provide them with the high quality refurbishment they deserved.

This luxury family Victorian home renovation was designed by London’s renowned Chelsea studio, and started out with a refreshing of the layout. We stripped back the original property and built bespoke storage spaces, whilst capitalising on any opportunity to add a splash of colour across the four stories.

We carefully maintained their interior designer’s guidelines and ensured that bespoke fittings and furniture were created to Clients exacting standards.

Before we plastered and painted this home, we stripped down existing finishes and removed original wiring to bring it into the modern era. This included audio-visual installments that provide luxury enhancements to the day to day lives of the owners.

The renovation of this home included new insulation throughout each floor, in addition to some minor structural work.

There were bespoke double-glazed sash and casement windows added, and tradition was not amiss when it came to warmth. We also installed a new fireplace in the living area.

Changes to the flow of the layout were our priority. Their central media cabinet with automatic cooling was built into the basement, and remained interactive with the owner’s movements throughout the home.

Extending the layout to give this luxury Fulham family home a loft began with removing a bathroom and turning it into a large open-space master bedroom suite.

The Juliet balcony is now accessed from new French doors and an added skylight sits above, bringing peace and neutrality into the space.

Our work resulted in smooth lines and sleek metallic finishes combined with smart-home technology.

We used a blend of function and form; the bespoke cabinetry included high-gloss sliding door wardrobes, bookshelves, living room cabinets and more, which were all designed to be visually seamless within the home.

To finish off, we used cornicing in each room for an effortless coordination of old and new.

Our luxury renovation made this family home in Fulham bright and airy, finished off with sleek light fittings and pendants that radiated quality in each room.

In the end, we organised this house to consist of 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a home office, a dining room, a living room, a kitchen and a terrace.

They were made into bespoke contemporary interiors in record-timing.

A word from our Clients:

Mariusz and the team at GBG delivered a complex and comprehensive redevelopment project in Fulham that exceeded expectations

Mariusz was given a very restricted time frame and a challenging specification but he pulled together the resources needed to complete the project on time. Mariusz is very intelligent, trustworthy and creative. I would not hesitate to hire him again for similar or larger projects.
