GBG Building Services Ltd was established in 2005
by Mariusz Gawecki, with his father Eric.
During the past eighteen years of growth and building partnerships, we’ve gained experience in prime property construction and refurbishment, delivering projects for our clients across London. Our team brings its technical and project management expertise, as well as exemplary craftsmanship
to every building project, helping our clients’ designs come to life.
The team consists of engineers and project managers, as well as long-standing craftsmen, who have over 30 years of experience with various finishes from marble to wood, glass and metal.

Reliability in construction is not an impossible goal. Delivering well-managed renovation projects with clean sites and efficient communication at all levels, within an agreed time frame, is what we excel at. We analyse site complexities, potential risks and delays, and the requisite specialist skills to advise on buildability early on during pre-construction meetings, then adapt quickly to ever-changing build environments to keep additional costs at a minimum. We provide honest and realistic pricing based on over 30 years of on-site experience.

Mariusz Gawecki BSc

Mariusz is the Founder and Director of GBG Building Services Ltd. His key role is building relationships and meeting new clients, as well as general company management. He is a qualified Construction Project Manager with over 15 years of hands-on experience. This gives him an invaluable advantage of how to run difficult projects smoothly through to completion. He is an extremely passionate and results-driven professional who has built a great team around him. He is a proud father of daughter Hannah, as well as a foodie and sushi lover, a keen skier and photographer.

Eric Gawecki

Eric is an established site manager with over 30 years of experience working on prime properties in the most affluent areas of London. Eric’s main duties are running sites and leading other site managers within the company.nHis specialties are: interior fit-outs & refurbishments, antique furniture restoration, and electromechanics. He enjoys spending free time on mastering his target shooting, and finding peace by going off-road in his 4×4.

Initial discovery call to understand your requirements

If you have a set of architectural plans and scope of works then we would like you to fill out our contact form and send them over. You can do so here. If you don’t already have these, we work with a network of talented architects and designers who we are happy to recommend. Just drop us an email. After we have received the documents, we will book a convenient time for a call in order to discuss if we are the right fit for your project.

First site meeting

Once we have established that we are a good fit, we would like to meet you in person at your project location. Visiting your property will help us clarify its current condition. Additionally, it will be our pleasure to meet you face-to-face!

Proposal

We can start estimating your project when we have a detailed specification of the works and a set of construction drawings. To prepare an accurate quotation, we study each project individually in great detail, taking into account site restrictions, delivery access, difficulty of tasks, and any exceptional skills that will be required. At this point, we will highlight and identify any potential extras so that the project’s budget is under control from the start. Our aim is to give you realistic and honest pricing based on our vast experience of renovating the most beautiful London properties.

Face to face meeting to review the quote

We will deliver our quote to you personally. Construction projects have a quite complex nature, so this will be an excellent opportunity for you to ask further questions and for us to explain or clarify the answers.

Signing the contract and paying the deposit.

You are ready to start, which is great because we are excited to be part of your team. We will sign an appropriate form of JCT contract, and we would kindly ask you to pay a deposit to secure your project start date in our schedule.

Construction phase

Site mobilization and project commencement. On the agreed date, our project manager will visit you and arrange for our team to start implementation of the project. Your dream home will soon become a reality!
